Summary, etc.: | When a wintertime car accident leaves his mother and brother seriously injured, Joe Gunther takes a leave of absence to attend to them and investigate the cause of the crash. Meanwhile, in Brattleboro, Vermont, two unidentifiable bodies are discovered in local hotels. The Vermont Bureau of Investigation soon discovers that both victims were Internet child predators, lured to the town by someone posing as a fourteen-year-old girl.
